Since You Asked, Here Are My Answers

Many people have questions about buying or selling a ranch. Some people are just curious; others are owners of existing ranch properties, or serious about buying a ranch.

At The Ranch Broker, we have more than three decades of hands-on experience answering questions for both casual inquisitors and those who have “skin in the game.”

While buying or selling a ranch isn’t complicated when you know what you’re doing, it can appear daunting – especially to those who are weighing a ranch transaction for the very first time.

Enter, “Ask Lem,” my series of short, to-the-point videos that answer some of the most common questions I hear – from both buyers and sellers.

In roughly two minutes each, my “Ask Lem” videos review the essentials of ranching real estate. My topics cover pricing, timing, marketing, taxes, commissions, and other topics.

Enter, “Ask Lem,” my series of short, to-the-point videos that answer some of the most common questions I hear – from both buyers and sellers.

In roughly two minutes each, my “Ask Lem” videos review the essentials of ranching real estate. My topics cover pricing, timing, marketing, taxes, commissions, and other topics.

Among my most popular videos are: “How buying a ranch differs from buying a house?” [https://youtu.be/_QLfdNSDYkc] and “How do you choose a quality ranch broker?” [https://youtu.be/AeL9pJlibL0]

Initially, I’ve uploaded nine videos, which are available on this website and from YouTube [http://tinyurl.com/LemLewisVideos]. In the coming months, I hope to continue to add to the “Ask Lem” video series, answering your questions, and talking about the romance and investment wisdom of owning your own ranch.

Buyers can visit: http://www.theranchbroker.com/buyer-questions.html. Sellers are welcome to view my “Ask Lem” video series designed especially for them: http://www.theranchbroker.com/seller-questions.html.

If you have a question you’d like me to address as part of my “Ask Lem” video series, I encourage you to write me ([email protected]). No question is too basic or too complex. Indeed, if you’re wondering about a topic, I’m certain that other people are too.

Your questions need not be technical in nature, although I welcome those. Ranching is so much more than real estate. It’s lifestyle, it’s legacy, it’s family, and it’s lots and lots of fun.

So I stand ready to answer questions about every aspect of ranching. Nothing is out-of-bounds: what to wear; how to catch fish; how to brand cattle; where to buy feed; how to repair fencing; or you name it. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll track down an expert who can respond professionally.

I’ll also be using this blog to regularly address questions that arise from those buying, selling or considering a ranch.

It is my honor to be your guide on this amazing adventure called ranching. Thanks for entrusting me to help show you the way.
